South West Gn— Skillnet in conjunction with The Institute of Technology Tralee is to deliver Free Training for Job Seekers in Bar & Restaurant Services in response to industry demand.Following consultation with local hospitality industry representatives this innovative new programme has been designed to give job seekers the real skills necessary to gain employment in the hospitality sector. Developed to provide a recognisable and professional qualification along with the practical skills set that employers are looking for this programme aims to support applicants in finding meaningful work in the hospitality and catering sector.The Programme will incorporate 12 lecture days over 12 weeks at the Institute of Technology Tralee and a work placement will be provided in a selected hotel in Tralee/Killarney area.A number of Hotels in the Kerry area have already expressed keen interest in facilitating work placements and South West Gn— Skillnet would like to invite other hotels to join the programme.When & Where?
