Event Type

This two-day dual certification is designed for professionals who carry real responsibility within their organisations, those who lead teams, shape culture, guide performance, support change, and influence how conversations happen across Leadership, Management, HR, People and Culture, Learning and Development, and Coaching roles.

It is suited to those working across corporate organisations and SMEs who are ready to move beyond repetitive meetings, surface-level discussions, and dominant voices, and who want to confidently facilitate creative thinking using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method alongside deeper, more structured dialogue through the Focused Conversation (ORID) method.

What is LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®?
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method is a hands-on facilitated thinking approach in which participants use LEGO® bricks to represent their ideas, making thinking visible and enabling conversations that are deeper, more balanced, and more inclusive. Rather than relying solely on verbal discussion, participants build three-dimensional models that capture perspectives, challenges, assumptions, and possibilities in ways that traditional meetings rarely allow.

This structured 3D process supports strategic clarity, alignment, and shared understanding in complex environments, helping teams surface insights, explore options, test thinking, strengthen decision making, and move more efficiently towards meaningful action, all with 100 per cent participation. It is grounded in research from business, organisational development, psychology, and learning theory, giving it both credibility and practical impact.

What is the Focused Conversation Method?
The Focused Conversation, also known as the ORID method, provides a clear and disciplined questioning framework that guides groups from observable data, to personal reflection, to interpretation, and finally towards decision and action.

It strengthens the quality of dialogue in meetings, strategy sessions, reviews, and change conversations by ensuring that groups do not jump too quickly to solutions, overlook different perspectives, or leave without clarity about next steps.

How can these methods help?
Together, these methods equip professionals with practical tools to design and facilitate the kinds of sessions modern workplaces urgently need, sessions where every voice can be heard, complex challenges can be explored safely, and conversations move beyond opinion towards shared insight and committed action.

Professionals in today’s organisations are culture shapers and conversation leaders who are expected to support engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, performance, and strategy, often simultaneously and under pressure. This requires more than strong communication skills; it requires the ability to design structured experiences where thinking is made visible, assumptions can be examined constructively, and decisions are built on shared understanding rather than hierarchy or habit.

Workplace teams include people who think, process, and communicate in different ways, including neurodivergent colleagues whose strengths may not always surface in traditional meeting formats. The combination of hands-on visual thinking and structured dialogue supports diverse communication styles, encourages balanced participation, improves the quality of decision making, and helps create psychologically safe environments where people feel confident contributing their ideas and perspectives.
