Join Anne Brannick for an in-person event focused on understanding the hidden, unconscious, meaning of protectors such as not listening, blaming, shaming, bullying, passivity, impostor syndrome with a view to creating cultures of psychological safety and wellbeing. We’ll be delving deep into the importance of psychological safety. Discover effective ways to create a culture of psychological safety in your personal and professional life by examining your relationship with your Self.
Psychological Safety and Wellbeing CPD day includes self leadership skills in interpersonal communication .
The training and approach will be of benefit, but not limited, to leaders, managers, employees. parents, psychotherapists, counselors, mental health professionals, health care professionals, allied health professionals, medical doctors, social workers, naturopathic physicians, fitness coaches, addiction counsellors, educators, holistic healing bodies,institutions, yoga teachers, meditation teachers, and clergy.
We are always in a relationship. The most important relationship is with yourself. It is the one that endures for a lifetime.
How you communicate at a conscious and unconscious level with yourself will hugely affect how you communicate with others.
In this one day training, Anne will explore, why we might or might not feel safe:
1) to contribute in a conversation at home or at work
2) to receive other people’s opinions,
3) to learn from each other,
4) to challenge the status quo in a conversation with others.
She will guide you to understand the dynamics of interpersonal communication and how to create connecting bridges of relational and psychological safety for your self by
1) examining the blame game IE: blaming ourselves, blaming others
2) listening with the intention to understand
3) Making sense of protective behaviour. What message is my behaviour communicating to me?
There will be a follow on opportunity to sign up for a 6 week course in further understanding the dynamics of interpersonal communication and developing a practice of open communication.
We’ll be delving deep into the importance of psychological safety. . How you are with yourself hugely affects how you are with others.
The day will be interspersed with Japanese health exercises you can use and teach to those you work with, to enhance emotional and physical wellbeing.
Attendees will be furnished with a CPD certificate of 6 hours.
Cost – €130.00. Funding support of 30% is available to South West Gnó Members, reducing the cost to €91.00.
