The purpose of this programme is to give participants a broad knowledge of the management of health and safety in the workplace. The course is ideally suited to personnel who either wish to progress within the field of health and safety management or who have an element of safety responsibility within their current employment.
At the end of this programme participants will understand the legal framework applicable to employers, employees and contractors. Participants will also be able to carry out both basic risk assessment and accident/incident investigation. They will also understand the essential components of the company safety statement and will be in a position to identify training needs required to secure a safer work environment.
